Bruce MacKay - BScPT, FCAMT, CGIMS, Dip. Manip. Therapy
Bruce graduated with distinction in 1992 from the University of Alberta. Since then he has taken numerous post graduate courses to advance his knowledge and skill level. Highlights of his post graduate education include achieving his PART B designation. This is the highest level available to physiotherapists through the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Passing this level allows Bruce to be a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists. He also has advanced training through the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain. In addition to this he has the Chan Gunn Intramuscular stimulation course which allows him to use acupuncture needles to control excessive muscle tone and pain. Bruce has worked with a variety of patients from ballet dancers to those with chronic pain.
